Shelagh SmithAKD certified category of hand knitter expertise:
A lifelong knitter, and a hand-spinner for 32 years, Shelagh's knitting patterns have been published in Spin.Off, Cast On, Knit 'n Style and INKnitters magazines. Cherry Tree Hill Yarn features her patterns, as do many other Vermont yarn producers. Latest designs: Humbug Bag, 101 Designer One-Skein Wonders, Storey Publishing 2007; Walking the Dog (see photo), One Planet Yarn & Fiber, 2007. Shelagh's particular interest is to create timeless wearable pieces - with a 'twist' - for all skill levels of knitters, that also enhance the unique qualities of the yarn.
