Marlaine DesChampsAKD certified category of hand knitter expertise:
Marlaine's design focus leans toward the more traditional side of the knitting world favoring simple, elegant outlines filled in with either textured yarns or textured stitches. She loves creating items with the potential to be used or worn many times over and that have a personal connection between the maker and the recipient of the knitted piece. Her background includes employment both as a yarn shop employee and manager. Her design work includes original patterns for models for use in the shop and also for the shop's mail order business. Marlaine's designs have been published in of Better Homes and Gardens Country Crafts, Crafts 'n Things and Knitting World magazines.
