Marci has been a professional full-time knitter since 1988. She hand spins and dyes her own yarns for the one-of-a-kind items she produces. Marci has self-published patterns that sell with her hand-dyed yarn in kits. She has had several patterns published but now spends more time concentrating on one-of-a-kind garments, focusing on designing and creating outerwear and accessories. All of her designs are hand or machine knit, most are a combination of both, and all are hand-finished. At art shows she features unique garments in an array of fibers and textures, using non-traditional shapes. She has sold handknit designs to craft companies and wholesaled finished pieces to shops and also a nationally distributed catalogue. Most of Marci's garments are one-size outerwear but she also produces hats, scarves, vests, pullovers, and felted bags.
