Jill WolcottAKD certified category of hand knitter and machine knitter expertise:
AKD Board of Directors, President Website: www.y2knit.com Jill comes to knitwear design from a background in fashion design, patternmaking and garment construction. Her goal in her knitwear designs is to incorporate fashion with ease of finishing into fun-to-knit contemporary projects. She is the Creative Director and co-owner of Y2Knit. In that role she designs, coaches and fosters new designers, designs knitting workshops for all levels of knitters, and teaches workshops at her Knitting Getaway Events focusing on continental knitting style. Jill also teaches college level fashion design and product development classes. Her passion is to help knitters become the knitter they want to be.
