A former yarn shop owner, Edie now designs for magazines and yarn companies. She is the author of a number of knitting leaflets, including Learn to Knit Socks, Knit Hats, Scarves & Mittens and I Can Knit! (11 Cool Projects for Preteen Girls). Edie has been knitting and crocheting since the age of six, and has taught classes of all levels for the past decade. She loves to help both new and experienced knitters learn fresh tricks of the trade. Edie lives in Virginias Shenandoah Valley with her husband and children.
