Amy PolcynAKD certified category of hand knitter expertise:
Amy started designing professionally in 2005, and has been published in several print magazines including Knitter's and Creative Knitting, online magazines, and a number of yarn companies' pattern collections. Much of her work is colorful Fair Isle and mosaic designs, focusing on accessories, home fashions, and women's/children's wear. She has several knitting-related articles and essays to her credit as well, including two in the book Cheaper Than Therapy (edited by Annie Modesitt.) Amy is also a CYCA certified knitting teacher and is nearly complete with the requirements of the TKGA Master Knitting program. In her "other life", Amy is an elementary school teacher.
